Dynasty Prospect Cobi Hamilton

Cobi Hamilton has been a solid WR in the SEC, but he's taken his game to the next level this season. It's tough for him to excel because the Arkansas offense is struggling, however he's 4th in the NCAA in receiving yardage. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 13

Beginning back in 1926, it's been one of the greatest rivalries in college football with each team having won exactly 11 national championships and each school with 7 Heisman Trophies. This year's game again has significant ramifications as Notre Dame comes into their final game of the season ranked #1 in the nation as college football's only undefeated team. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 12

Our featured game last week caught us watching the shocker of Texas A&M defeating Alabama. It's not so much of a shocker per se, and we highlighted that if anyone could defeat Alabama, the athleticism of Johnny Football in College Station could possibly do it, but it was the last true test for then-#1 Alabama before the SEC Championship game. With the loss, it makes this game even that more exciting and obviously crucial for the Oregon Ducks, who now sit #2 in the nation, tied with Kansas State and Notre Dame with undefeated seasons at 10-0. Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 11

Aside from the SEC conference game, this is certainly the last chance for anyone to unseat undefeated Alabama and knock them off a crash course with the national title game. It’s a great match-up of elite offense against elite defense, as the Aggies come into the game ranked 3rd in the nation at 44.7 PPG while Alabama ranks #1 in defense, allowing opponents a meager 9.1 PPG. Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 10

Perhaps they were looking ahead to this week's huge game against Oregon, but the shine on this marquee match-up took a slight hit when Arizona pulled the massive upset last week defeating USC. On the loss, USC dropped from 9th in the nation to 17th. However, it only marginally takes away from this exciting PAC-12 match-up. Oregon comes in undefeated at 8-0, ranked 4th in the nation, and ranked 1st in points scored (averaging an almost unbelievable 53.4 points per week). Full Story

Prospect of the Week 8

Le'Veon Bell has the tools to be a solid bell-cow type starter in the NFL with tools that other RBs dream of. Look for Bell to garner a solid second round grade. If he lands on the right team he could be a very productive fantasy back right out of the gate in his rookie season. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 9

Coming into the 9th week of the college football season, we are down to five undefeated teams left: Alabama, Florida, Kansas State, Oregon and Notre Dame. We've covered three of those five teams in earlier Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow articles, with Kansas State on tap this week, and we're planning Oregon next week in a big match-up against USC. Kansas State and Texas Tech both have greatly exceeded pre-season expectations. Full Story

Prosepect of the Week 7

Montee Ball has a solid overall game, although the main issue with Ball is that he isn't truly special at any one thing - think of Doug Martin last year, but a worse athlete. To be a difference maker at the next level you need either an ideal situation or have great athletic ability at the next level. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 8

It's still an odd statement to say we're featuring SEC-conference Texas A&M, but the Aggies are at home this week in another key SEC game hosting the LSU Tigers. Aside from a loss at Florida two weeks back, #6 LSU has five wins on the season including an impressive 23-21 win against South Carolina last week. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 7

We're making a stop in South Bend this week, in what has suddenly turned into a pretty fair big modern-day rivalry. Notre Dame (#7) and Stanford (#17) have met 26 times and began annual play against one another in 1997. It is a particularly odd phenomenon as the two teams have literally traded-off wins/losses every year since. Full Story

Prospect of the Week 6

Geno Smith entered his senior year as our #5 rated QB but has since risen to be #1. He has a ways to go, but elite skill-set in reading defenses, accuracy, pocket presence, and anticipation will have a first round price at the NFL level. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 6

After a record-setting performance by WVU's Geno Smith last week will make this week's #8 West Virginia Mountaineers at #11 Texas Longhorns match-up even that more exciting, and now a new Big 12 marquee match-up. Both teams come in undefeated at 4-0 as one of them will inch a step closer toward being in a BCS bowl game and the other will likely drop out of the discussion. Full Story

Justin Hunter has the chance to be truly special in the NFL. He is arguably ranked a little low (our #4 WR as he tore his ACL in 2011 and he hasn’t seen the same player since to date. Hunter is a little, drops balls, and isn’t making the make the same plays as before. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 5

In this week's spotlight we'll make a stop in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Wisconsin Badgers at Nebraska Cornhuskers Big Ten match-up (7 PM EST, ABC). Both teams come in with a record of 3-1, and this will be the first Big 10 game this season for both teams. Full Story

Wilson needs to add muscle to his long frame if he wants to hold up long term in the NFL. He's more of a technician than physical specimen. Very little to dislike about his game, just unsure of how high of a ceiling he could have in the NFL. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 4

If ever there was a Week 4 ACC must-see game, then this week's FSU at Clemson is it. Both teams come into the game at 3-0 and both teams highly ranked (FSU is ranked 4th in the nation and Clemson is 10th). Florida State blasted Wake Forest 52-0 this past week and has had three marshmallow games to start the season (Murray State, Savannah State and Wake Forest). Full Story

Prospect of The Week 3

Woods has some flaws to his game and he might be limited to a slot guy. If he can gain strength he might be able to play outside at the next level. USC receivers of late have woefully underperformed at the next level. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow Week 3

We're sticking with the SEC again this week with the Florida Gators heading to good ole' Rocky Top to take on the Tennessee Volunteers. Both these head coaches are looking to rebuild off slow starts to their head-coaching careers. Florida's HC Will Muschamp had a disappointing inaugural season at 7-6 last year (that level of success won't last long with Florida boosters) while Tennessee's Derek Dooley has a losing record (11-14) after two seasons at UT. Prospect of The Week 2

If you're looking for the next unbelievable athlete at RB, keep looking. However, if you want a hard-working player that reminds us of Curtis Martin then Lattimore is your guy. He does many things very well and just makes guys miss, although he simply doesn't possess great speed. Lattimore projects to be a back-end NFL 1st round pick next year if another injury doesn't sideline him. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tommorrow Week 2

In this week's spotlight game of the week, we'll go with a classic SEC match-up in Georgia at Missouri. That will take some getting used to! It will be Missouri’s much-anticipated debut in the SEC. Georgia is favored to win the SEC East while Missouri has one chance here to make their first SEC impression. Missouri had a soft tune-up last week against Southeastern Louisiana and scored four TDs in the first eight minutes of the game en route to a 62-10 drubbing. Georgia won their first game last week over Buffalo, 45-23. This game will be Saturday at 6:45 PM EST on ESPN2. Full Story

Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow

In a new series this year at Dynasty Rogues, we will be spotlighting a nationally-televised college game each week highlighting "Fantasy Stars of Tomorrow", skill-position players who we will be likely drafting in dynasty and redrafts leagues before too long. These are players to keep an eye on, particularly for those of you who are casual college football fans. This week's game, and it’' a marquee match-up on Prime Time Saturday night (7 PM, ABC): Alabama versus Michigan.
